Note: This is an interesting blog post where a System Suck lawyer admits what I've been saying all along.
To me a sysytem works if at a minimum at least 51% of children are being helped. In my opinon foster care does more harm than good for more than 51% of children. As dysfunctional as many families are to separate a child from parents, siblings, school and their neighborhood does more harm than good. Especially given the low quality of available foster homes. Many foster homes are just as bad if not worse than some of the homes children are taken from. To be isolated away from everything you have ever known except for a one hour per week visit is a huge impact upon a child.
Couldn't agree with you more Mr. Prosecutor. Now lets bring these SOB's to justice. What do you say people???
