DCF Investigates Unreported Missing Baby
The case of 10-month-old Ja'vion Redd has the Department of Children and Families investigating why he was considered missing for more than a month.
The case started on Dec. 10, when a judge determined Ja'vion was to be turned over to the state. A week later, when a caseworker with PSI Family Services, a foster care and adoption service that contracts with DCF, was expected to meet with Ja'vion and his guardian, the baby wasn't there.
