Abuse alert over unregistered foster carers
PARENTS and teachers in Halton are being urged to turn whistle blower if they suspect a child is living with an unregistered foster carer.
The plea follows the launch of a nationwide campaign to clamp down on the practice of private fostering, which child protection experts fear could lead to cases of abuse
Note: Interesting, they're concerned about abuse in the homes that they don't monitor, yet they can't stop it in the ones that they do.
