Future anxiety among orphans can be decreased by professional help
Future anxiety among orphans can be decreased by professional help
For those who are raised in state-run institutions for the care of orphans, the possibility for future anxiety is among the biggest issues. When they set out on their own after turning 18, most of the orphans face great challenges until they manage to stand on their own feet.

Stanislaus County to strengthen mental health services for foster youths
Stanislaus County to strengthen mental health services for foster youths
To comply with a landmark court settlement, Stanislaus County will bolster mental health and support services for foster children who struggle with emotional problems.
A federal class-action lawsuit in 2002 charged that Los Angeles County had failed to provide mental health treatment for foster youths or children at risk of foster care placement. Group homes and a notorious county center were filled with mentally ill and abused children, resulting in frequent lawsuits and demands for reform.
Note: Only 12 years later. Interesting.

The findings of a major new study by the charity Scope have shown the impact that a lack of support has on families of disabled children.
A survey of more than 1,500 parents, found that that almost half (47 per cent) have visited their GP due to anxiety, with 57 per cent being described antidepressants.
80 per cent said they felt frustrated, stressed and exhausted, admitting to ‘bottling up’ emotions through guilt, or fear of being judged.
Note: All of those wonderful things that will get one of those scary British Social Worker's up your ass. It's one of the old, "Oh we can give him services if we get custody," kind of things I guess.

Seizure of baby from mother's womb is 'stuff of nightmares'
Congratulations to the British Social Workers who made this happen. You have officially been entered into the all time most horrid thing ever done by a CPS Agent contest. I've often said that the British Baby-Stealer was the worst in the world. I think this about proves it.
Seizure of baby from mother's womb is 'stuff of nightmares'
The case of a woman whose baby daughter was forcibly removed from her womb by UK social services was described by human-rights groups as "the stuff of nightmares".This next link is a different perspective. That of the system suck or something.
Child taken from womb by social services: it's not always wrong
We must not get distracted by vilifying the Court of Protection when children’s rights are at stake. The system needs to be respected and supported, argues solicitor-advocate Sophie Khan

How To Brainwash A Nation
http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
This amazing interview was done back in 1985 with a former KGB agent who was trained in subversion techniques. He explains the 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to. It's shocking because our nation has been transformed in the exact same way, and followed the exact same steps.
