Attn: Pelletier Family, Including Lou and Justina

Be careful who you form alliances with.  Some of these idiots will use you for their own agendas. Michelle Bachmann, for example, is a CPS loving former foster parent who likes to put herself on that holier than thou pedestal.  I'm sure you've given her the opportunity to reminisce.

Justina Pelletier Goes To D.C. To Lobby For Research Bill

Justina Pelletier traveled to Washington, D.C., Wednesday to advocate for a bill named in her honor.

Pelletier, 16, spent 16 months at the center of a widely publicized custody battle between her family and the State of Massachusetts. She returned to her West Hartford home on June 18.
-----
I'm kind of getting the same feeling from this that I got when Lou Pelletier went on the Dr. Phil show.  Dr Phil by the way, is a total system suck spokesperson for the CASA puppets.

You are not the only victim of CPS, yet you're allowing these people to act as if you are.

About Bachmann's Twenty-Three Foster Kids

About Bachmann's Twenty-Three Foster Kids

As Bachmann has told and retold her story as one of divine inspiration, she has recast her biography in ever more grandiose directions. A great example is the issue of her "28 children." Bachmann has five kids and, something even her most withering critic should acknowledge, has cared for 23 foster kids. But in 2008 — 10 years after any of her foster children had been in her home — Bachmann was talking as though she was still dashing home from Congress to cook for them. "Every weekend now when I go home, I will go to the grocery store, I'll buy food for the family," she said. "We have five kids and 23 foster kids that we raise. So I go to the grocery store and buy a lot of food."

Michelle Bachmann Deals The Cards!!!

Michele Bachmann Talks Miscarriage, Foster Children

Michele Bachmann has talked openly about the miscarriage she suffered after having her second child, and in the new issue of MORE magazine she explains that the loss helped cement her anti-abortion views and inspired her and husband Marcus to take in foster children:

Note: Don't you just love the way she throws the foster parent card out there to propel herself onto a higher self-righteous moral platform? Our beloved Beverly Tran would call it the...

Imperialistic Morality Parade

In other words, according to Ms Bachmann, she's better than you because she was a foster parent.

Michele Bachmann On Jerry Sandusky Penn State Sex Abuse Scandal: I'd 'Beat Him To A Pulp'

Michele Bachmann On Jerry Sandusky Penn State Sex Abuse Scandal: I'd 'Beat Him To A Pulp'

Well, this is a national conversation. And the lens that I look at this through is as a mother. I'm a mother of five biological children and 23 foster children. And my heart, I think, is reflective of that of the American people. This is so horrific. On the level of a parent, I think about my children. If that was my child.

Note: There she goes again, pulling the foster parent card in her bid to become president.

Answer Man: Bachmanns were paid for foster care services

Answer Man: Bachmanns were paid for foster care services

Dear Answer Man, Rep. Michele Bachmann has gotten a lot of attention for having provided foster care for children, but I've never seen it reported whether she was compensated. It's my understanding that if you're a licensed foster care home that there's some financial compensation. If true, how much were they paid?

Bachmann's candidacy puts spotlight on foster care

Bachmann's candidacy puts spotlight on foster care in a System Sucky sort of way.

As the campaign for the presidency heats up, GOP candidate Michele Bachmann's history as a foster parent to 23 children over the years has attracted the attention of both critics and supporters. However, child welfare expert Dr. Kalyani Gopal couldn't care less about that part. She's just happy someone is even talking about foster care.

Homelessness, Foster Kids, and Michele Bachmann

Homelessness, Foster Kids, and Michele Bachmann

According to the Child Welfare Information Gateway, in September of 2009 (the last date for which statistics have been compiled), 423,773 American children were in foster care. That’s nearly half a million: Not such a large number these days when applied to dollars, but a very large number indeed when it’s children we’re talking about.

Pelosi to Bachmann: Address the Teen Suicides in Your District

Republican presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann’s failure to address a disturbing trend of teen suicides within her own congressional district does not reflect well on her White House ambitions, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi told The Advocate Thursday.

AM EXCLUSIVE – Bachmann on being a foster mom: "A big family is a blessing"

In an exclusive interview with American Morning's Kiran Chetry, Republican Presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann explains how she chose to become a foster parent, the importance of balancing challenges in a marriage and her struggle to emerge out of poverty as a teenager.

Note: Michelle Bachmann's shit don't stink because she was a foster parent and would therefore make a good president, regardless of the fact that she's clueless. Well I, for one, am sick of listening to her.

Bachmann: Black Kids Better Off During Slavery

Bachmann: Black Kids Better Off During Slavery

Social-conservative GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann of Minnesota has again used a slavery analogy that has pundits scratching their heads. While signing a controversial conservative Christian group's pledge to oppose same-sex marriage and uphold its so-called "core values", the Minnesota representative agreed to the following.

What would President Bachmann mean for foster children?

What would President Bachmann mean for foster children?

Talking Points Memo Wednesday points out a potential contradiction in Michele Bachmann's line on foster care. The Minnesota Republican has long touted her fostering record -- having cared for a total of 23 children -- as a family values credential. But as TPM reports "Critics warn that her zeal for budget cuts threatens vulnerable youngsters" of the very sort she has fostered:

Michele Bachmann's extended family of 23 former foster children have become the unexpected stars of the Republican primary even though few details are known about them individually. The Minnesota Congresswoman brings them up frequently in debates, speeches and interviews as a showcase for her commitment to family values.

Michele Bachmann's History As A Foster Parent Remains Murky

Michele Bachmann's History As A Foster Parent Remains Murky

Rep. Michele Bachmann mentions her stint as a foster mother at every opportunity, whether she's introducing herself at the recent debate in New Hampshire or speaking at the 2008 Republican National Convention. It's always been a bedrock part of the Bachmann brand.

Note: According to Ms Bachmann... "I was a foster parent, therefore my shit don't stink, and that's why I should be president."

Just remember, she was dumb enough to believe everything the nice social worker told her.
