Group wants CPS changes after foster care deaths
The non-profit group "Texans Care for Children" says the state is in crisis after ten children died in foster care last year. They released a report with numerous recommendations including increase foster parent training hours, adding a yearly home visit for foster parents and reduce CPS worker caseloads.
Yearly home visits ?!? That's just crazy. They need to be every other month.
ReplyDelete^ I agree with above a lot can go wrong in a month never mind a year.
