Me too. He's a JUDGE fer gewd's sake! I'm sure he'd be the first one to throw the proverbial book at anyone who came before him for sentencing on a stripper drug deal. He should have thought about his family before he chose to break the law; instead he took a chance (probably on more than one occasion) and this time he got caught. The irony is that his family is pissed at "the media" and not at the real culprit: horny old Judge Camp.
Is it not incredible how public shame can assist this judge in changing his jeckle-hyde personality? Now he can have a dose of the criminality he served upon so many others during his “decades-long battle with depression and .. brain damage .. leading to his drug use and promiscuity”.
This ex-FEDERAL judge “has trouble grappling” with his current circumstances. Perhaps that is because our judges place themselves above the very law they are supposed to uphold, it applies to everyone except them.
In my case, Judge Lowenbach was removed from the bench for a decade of dementia (from a reliable source). How many children were whisked off to foster/adoptive services during Lowenbach’s dementia tirade? Each of his cases abound with lies, lies repeated to the new foster/adoptive families no doubt? Certainly I am only a statistic in the devastation from Lowenbach’s court.
Six month’s in prison for ex-FEDERAL judge Camp? Is that all? If they only do this much, or worse, less, it sends a clear message that those who rule over us are beyond reproach.
“Elizabeth Camp said her husband is dealing with the reality he will live out the rest of his life as a judge who broke the law.” I believe he is ‘dealing’ with the reality of being caught.
“..she said a prison sentence would only disrupt his quest to recover and rebuild his family and reputation.” As it does to everyone else.
Me too.
