My daughter's paternal grandmother petitioned the termination of my parental rights soon after I left her son. When DCFS became involved I really wasn't worried, after all I did not abuse or neglect my children. The first place they sent me for urinalysis was ridiculous. There was at least a two hour wait, with no seating. This place reported that I had been "dirty" two times. I fought them in court and won. My Social Worker stood up for me in court, stating that my children were well groomed, well dressed, well fed, well loved, and that there was no need for DCFS involvement. The JUDGE was absolutely furious at her, and reprimanded her thoroughly. That was the last time I ever saw her. Since I was clean, and had adequate housing and food "they" had me pulled over and falsely accused of possession of a controlled substance. This gave them the grounds to finally terminate my rights. I appealed repeatedly with no success. After all was said and done I was still fighting the possession charge and coincidentally soon after the adoption was complete MY CHARGES WERE MAGICALLY DISMISSED.
