Police remind motorists to use proper child safety restraints
The Greater Sudbury Police have issued a public service reminder, after receiving a complaint this afternoon regarding a child sitting on the lap of an adult who was operating a motor vehicle. The police would like to remind drivers that not only are actions like this unsafe, but are also illegal. In addition to a monetary fine, police are obligated to contact the Children's Aid Society for a follow-up.
Note: Some people just need to learn to mind their own freekin business.
