Dads often get short shrift in divorces, group argues during Wednesday protest

"If there is a divorce and there was no violence, (custody) should be 50-50,” said one man, one of more than 20 protesters outside the Sault Ste. Marie courthouse, across from the Children's Aid Society of Algoma's Queen Street office. “I'm paying and everything … Why should I not see the child?"
