DCF Chief Joette Katz Must Be Fired Over Child Deaths
Sarah Eagan, the state's child advocate, released her long-awaited report on 2013 child fatalities. It includes this chilling conclusion: "2013 was an unprecedented year for infant and toddler homicide." The 34-page report highlights fatal failures of the Department of Children and Families that are condemning some babies to death.
Note: Until they realize and that no child welfare system can be perfect, that they're not going to achieve a 100% success rate outside of some Minority Report type synopsis, and that all they can hope to achieve is the best that anybody can do, they're not going to be happy.
Sure it's a horrible tragedy when a child dies from abuse or neglect.
