Dr. Manny: Are Child Protective Services broken in this country?
A recent report about a young Russian couple who took their 5-month-old son for a second medical opinion and ultimately ended up losing custody of the child has me very concerned about the way Child Protective Services (CPS) functions in this country.

DHR/CPS - all ignorant fools who signed up for the position in hopes of making a difference only to hit the political wall of shame. That's when they pass "Apathy 101".
ReplyDeleteI reported that my child was sick, visibly. I couldn't take him to the Dr, I didn't have custody and they wouldn't see him. His teeth fell out and grew back, and he STILL had that rash on his mouth, and it had migrated all over his body. Infantigo.
Tomorrow, during a Child Support hearing (apparently the last Judge didn't set it high enough for them) I am presenting them with this picture:
