New CAG report brands India's flagship child welfare scheme a failure
More than three decades after its launch, the country's flagship scheme for the nutritional and developmental needs of children has failed in making a difference to child welfare, states a damning report by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) released on Tuesday.
