BBC finally launches investigation into Jimmy Savile child abuse claims... but not until a police probe is over
George Entwistle, the BBC's new director-general, has said the corporation will conduct an inquiry into Sir Jimmy Savile's alleged abuse of teenage girls, following a police investigation.
