ReplyDeleteWhen I was 15 years old, I was wrongly taken away from my parents by the state of Texas. My case worker and CASA worker would lie to me, emotionally abuse me, they were neglectful towards me, the emotional abuse caused me to become so physically stressed I would get sick. I asked several times to speak with the judge but was constantly denied. They would lie to my mom and tell her I was doing fine and liked being in their care. I was not fine. I was sick. After being returned home to my mom I was paranoid of every knock on the door. I was scared of going to public school. After 3 years, I haven't seen my baby brother and sister because they were given over to my aunt who is the cause of all of this. I have PTSD, emotional problems which cause me to have strained relationships and trust issues. I lost an entire summer with my family that I can't get back. They put my family through so much financial and emotional turmoil. I cannot stress enough what I went through to anyone.
