The only problem is that is that these people are frauds and when that call is made, doors are opened and innocent families are humiliated and destroyed. Notice how these articles never state that. The media portrays child snatchers as trustworthy government workers who protect kids from abuse or neglect. Those who have experience them invading their lives know better.
More and more false accusations end up getting investigated because of the child abuse hysteria created by the media's harping on this stuff. These articles never state that. No, they expect the normal people to just trust in the belief that the Child Protective Industry has the wisdom and competence to tell the difference between children who are really abused and neglected and those who are not when they can't even tell the difference between shit and Shinola.
Still there are lots of people who are dumb enough to fall for it, and apparently the Child Abuse Hotline is lighting up with calls because they'd like to have you believe that every kid is now in danger because this one case made the national headlines, and it wasn't even the kids parents who abused them, but rather a pillar of the community. Go figure.
