Maine Gov. Paul LePage is drawing fire from the national head of the NAACP after responding to questions about why he declined to attend Martin Luther King Day celebrations in Maine with the comment, "Tell them to kiss my butt."
Note: I have to put forth a statement on this. As a blogger dealing with child welfare system, I jumped on this not so much because of Mr LePages offensive comments, but rather his attempt at covering his butt (which is in no way worthy of kissing) by using his adopted son, who just happens to be black.
He has done this twice now. (first time posted earlier)
Also, as a blogger dealing with the child welfare system, I believe I am representing you all and I don't care what your race or religion or whatever is. We all need to come together to fight a common enemy being the Child Protective Industry, the family court, the system sucks who are profiting off of this mess, the rats, and the lawmakers who put the laws into effect that make it possible for this mess to exist. There is no place whatsoever for racism of any kind here, especially since it is a fact that African American's are overrepresented in the United States Foster Care System.

So in my opinion everybody in the Family Rights movement should be offended by Mr. LePages comments.
I love you all.
