How to Check the Child Abuse Registry
The Child Abuse Registry is a registry kept on a state-to-state basis that contains a list of registered child abuse offenders. There is also a national registry, known as The National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System. When requesting a registry check, you should start with your state Child Abuse Registry before contacting the national registry. The Child Abuse Registry is only accessible to certain individuals (such as judges, police officers, and social workers) and some organizations offering employment or volunteer positions working with children.
Note: Check it out, tell me if it works. Tell me if you see your local child protective agencies listed. They should be.
