'I have no faith in the agency': Chief upset with DCFS response after baby left at police station
Police Chief Dave Clark said he is upset with a state child welfare agency because it took a caseworker seven hours to show up and claim a baby girl who was dropped off Wednesday night at the police station.

But a spokesman for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services said it was four hours, and that by law the department has 24 hours from the time it receives a hotline call to arrive at the location of the call to investigate.
"I have no faith in the agency. I don't know why they exist," Clark said.
Note: I think we should all join Dave here in his lack of faith in the agency.
