Foster carer shortage hits Qld
Note: If they weren't stealing so many kids, there wouldn't be a foster care shortage, now would there?
The Queensland Department of Communities says there is a growing shortage of foster carers throughout the state.
Department director-general Linda Apelt says with 138 foster families caring for 313 children in the Rockhampton region in central Queensland in the year to June to 2009, more registered carers are needed.
