Let Ombudsman investigate CAS, says local group
The founder of a local advocacy group is lending her support to a private member's bill that would allow the Ontario Ombudsman's office to investigate complaints against the Children's Aid Society.
Note: A lot of these Ombudsman's are nothing but system sucks in disguise.
There is a comment below, I decided to post it here so that nobody misses it.

Ontario is different. The ombudsman, André Marin, has uncovered scandals in other areas. For example, dozens of cases in which lottery players went back to the convenience store where they bought their ticket to be informed they were the winner of a free ticket. After going home with their freebie, the store owner collected the real prize of $500,000.
The social services system is afraid of Mr Marin and wants to keep him away from their turf. Recently his term of office expired and the government made noises about not rehiring him. Only a loud public uproar got him a six month extension.
