The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has officially dropped its child abuse investigation against Britney Spears, a source tells RadarOnline.com.

Note: Britney Spears has been falsely accused of child abuse. See world, It could happen to anybody. Of course, Britney can afford a good lawyer to fight any such accusations, so of course they're not going to pursue beyond an initial investigation, I'll bet they'll close the case on Mel Gibson as well. But it was a good opportunity for the gestapo to ride in on their high-horse and show their dominance in front of the cameras.
