Sad Ending?
I'm going to reveal my evil side here and say that I'm relieved. I know that sounds really bad, but hear me out. The appearance of her doing well was artificial. She had no ownership of her recovery, she was taking no responsibility for meeting any of her case plan goals.
Note: Isn't it wonderful how foster parents formulate opinions based on the stories from the workers?
