Moscow knocks U.S. for "silence" on dead Russian child
The United States "inexcusably" failed to inform Moscow about the death of a Russian-born toddler adopted by an American couple, a Kremlin official said on Friday, highlighting tensions over an adoption accord the two countries signed in July.

The Wex didn't like Diane Sawyer's Show On Drugging Foster Kids
Yes folks it's true. Our beloved Richard Wexler, the leader of the National Coalition of Child Welfare Reform says that Diane Sawyer's special on the overdrugging of America's foster children amounted to a bunch of fairy tales which portrayed the foster parents as the heroes and the real parents as the monsters.

Behind a wall of secrecy, parents who lost their children are now in jail
There have been more disturbing developments in our secretive family protection court system. Two cases involving parents whose children were taken from them by social workers have been so curious that I have reported on them here more than any others. Each, having previously been heard by more junior judges, has now been taken over personally by Lord Justice Wall, head of the Family Division.

Andover couple gets jail time for harassing state lawmaker
Andover couple gets jail time for harassing state lawmaker
An Andover couple has been sentenced to jail after being convicted of harassing a neighbor, a Republican state representative, with activities including phony Craigslist ads and a false abuse report in 2008, authorities said yesterday.
Note: A lawmaker having a false child abuse report made against him. That's funny. I've often thought that these legislators should get a taste of their own legislation since their the ones who jump upon all of these laws to make themselves look good on their voting record. Perhaps if enough of our government officials spent a little time on the receiving end of a state sponsored anal probe by social worker, things would change. I just don't push for such things as two wrongs don't make a right, even though it would be fun to do.

Why the media should come to Legally Kidnapped when in need of a good juicy story to harp on
The mass media has just gotten wind of something that I've been complaining about for years. The drugging of children in foster care. Perhaps if they paid a little more attention to Legally Kidnapped, they'd have a clue beyond the last months top 3 juicy tid bits which includes the Penn State Scandal which I first told you about back in April of this year but didn't take off until last month and the stealing of an obese child, which contrary to popular belief is nothing new either.
This drugging kids thing is an issue that is near and dear to my heart, because the first time I met my step son he was on 7 different psych meds living like a good little zombie in a group home. They told him daily how well he was doing. And he proceed to stay out of their hair by sitting there in a coma staring off into space at a cost to the tax payer of $280 a day.
In fact this drugging children issue was showing up in my news reader so much that I was able to start a second blog just on that issue alone. http://www.DruggingChildren.blogspot.com
But anyway...
Here are the links that I've collected over the last two days regarding this drugging foster kids issue.

13 Year-Old Kid Arrested for Burping in P.E. Class
A kid’s life has basically been changed forever in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where in May, a 13 year-old boy was arrested for disrupting his P.E. class by belching. The officer, who apparently has no measurable sense of humor or irony, handcuffed the kid and sent him to juvenile detention without notifying his parents, who just filed a lawsuit against the school’s principle, the officer, and the teacher.

Damn Judge!!!
Note: It is recommended that you listen to this music when reading this incredibly moving post by our beloved foster shrink where she talks about her setbacks with an array of new workers in a field with a turnover rate that rivals McDonalds, her experience with a useless family court system which won't move fast enough to suit her needs, and her desire to adopt the kid who she has fallen in love with.

Indian kids 14 times more likely to be placed in foster care
In the footsteps of the riveting NPR report on American Indian children in foster homes in South Dakota, Sasha Aslainian of MPR files a piece on the situation here in Minnesota: “In Minnesota, American Indian children are 14 times more likely to be placed in out-of-home care than white children — the widest such gap in the nation. Officials place 66 percent of the children with relatives or with American Indian foster families. Even as the total number of Minnesota children in foster care dropped 44 percent in the last decade, the number of American Indian children placed in foster care dropped by only 16 percent.”
