Blythewood resident, Shandreka Jones, is a wife, mother, and student at the University of South Carolina earning her masters degree in social work. Despite her busy schedule, Jones, decided about a year ago it was time for her to write her life story as a child raised by families assigned to her as part of the foster care system of New York state. Jones was abandoned at birth by her mother.
