Older children, including sibling groups and special needs youth, often get left behind.

Note: Yes this is one of those feel good articles that tries to recruit adoptive parents.  I only post it because it is true that the older and special needs kids get left behind.  Most adoptive parents want a cute little baby, especially the little blue eyed blonds.  Those kids are in high demand.
