Legislation would require law enforcement interviews with children to be videotaped in abuse cases
The Michigan House on Wednesday approved legislation designed to ensure that investigations into child abuse are more reliable. The plan, proposed by State Representative Tom McMillan, of Rochester, would require that Child Protective Services and law enforcement interviews of children in abuse cases be videotaped. He says there's no reason why it's not already done.
