Kurt Senske, CEO of Lutheran Social Services of the South, has released the following statement:
“LSS is aware of the issues raised by the Department of Family Protective Services (DFPS). Our number one priority is the safety of our children and we remain confident of the quality of all of our programs. We respect the state’s rights and responsibilities in this area and we will cooperate fully with DFPS. We are scheduled to meet with DFPS to discuss their concerns and will have no additional comment prior to that meeting, as it would be inappropriate.”
