Shhhh... Don't tell anybody.

The $1,000 blog (or the 1 year in jail blog)

I signed a new contract.

It’s a privacy contract.

And it effectively forbids this blog.

Note: Interesting, did you catch the part about the agencies wanting to keep everything secret?

Let's shed a little light on this subject, and we'll call it...

Transparency and Accountability?

I've got a new idea for this accountability: every agency case file shall be audited for all the cases where the agency placed the children into care and didn't provide services first with the auditors being responsible for determining which cases met that profile, the auditor would contact the parents, family, and witnesses, of each case, and inquire into whether the agency properly represented the facts and which facts they misrepresented. The agency could then be fined for each day a child was detained. The fines would be set a two month care cost per day for each child and parent effected. Also the auditor would have the right to fine judges if they knew the agency misrepresented the facts but followed their rational anyway with a two month care cost per child. The auditors could be picked just like any petit jury.

This would serve the public interest by greatly reducing care costs and eliminating much of the favoritism in the courts.
