Judge orders release of records on child who died under state's care
The state must make public records related to the death of a 20-month-old Monticello boy who was in the state foster care system, Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip Shepherd ruled Tuesday.
Note from the person who sent this to me: What does a two year old baby, with his fourteen year old mother both foster children in the Kentucky CPS system spell? Death. The baby drank draino that the 14 year old girl and her 19 year boyfriend father were allegedly using to make meth.
However, a Kentucky Judge ordered that the CPS must turn over the records because the public interest in why this child died outweighs privacy concerns.
