Australian child welfare program placing boys with lesbian gender-benders
After a couple lesbians dressed up a six-year-old male foster child in girls’ clothing and posted pictures of him on Facebook, questions have arisen in new South Wales about how the decision was made to place the child with this family. The two lesbians were selected by Barnardo’s Find a Family program, which placed both the boy and a girl with the women. When initially placed, the boy was 3 and the girl 12. The girl soon expressed displeasure with the arrangement, and was removed from their care, but the three-year-old boy was too small to advocate for himself either way, so he stayed.
