The Review was prompted not by the tragic death of the boy in January 2007, but transpired 3 weeks earlier with the death of a little girl named "S.M."
Furthermore, Minister Fritz's statement is false: "It's really important that people realize this is an unusual situation, that it rarely happens."
A similar remark was issued by Minister Tarchuck when the little boy died although it was well-known to the Office that another little girl had just happened, but the Government of Alberta would not permit report in the Media!!!
