Deputy Arrested for Child Sex Abuse



Authorities say a Bastrop County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing an 8-year-old child.

If Officer Matthews is innocent it will cost him and his family a small fortune to prove it. I've worked criminal child sex cases as an expert and most arrested defendants are indicted and most juries err on the side of childrens' disclosures even if there's no medical findings.
