FOSTER MOM SENTENCED FOR BEATING INFANT ON THE HEAD WITH BABY BOTTLE
The United States Attorney’s Office announced that Samantha Renee Headcarrier, 24, of Browning, Montana, has been sentenced to ten years in prison, followed by three years’ supervised release, and a special assessment of $100, after pleading guilty to Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Felony Child Abuse. Headcarrier was the foster mother of an eight-month old baby and the abuse was severe enough to cause the child, now nearly two years old, lifelong injuries.
