Warning To the Family Rights Movement - Re. At The Mercy Of The State

I usually try to stay out of this kind of drama, but things have come to my attention that I can no longer overlook.

This is in regards to the Facebook Group: At the Mercy of The State which currently has over 16,000 members and may very well just be the largest Facebook family rights group out there.  Many followers of Legally Kidnapped have joined this group.

The problem with this group is that fake profiles of wanna be porn queens are being used to recruit members.  Apparently men are sucked in by this and the groups numbers are inflating rather quickly, however, I need to maintain a standard as would anybody who is fighting for families.   I do not at all condone this sort of behavior on behalf of any member of any group.  However, it is happening and because of recent events right up to last night, as well as concerns that have now been brought to my attention by other trusted friends and advocates, whose names I will not mention and who I've known for years, I will post this.

Why this is happening all of a sudden I do not know.  I am not going to speculate, nor am I going to name any names.  I am simply going to post a warning to the movement and state what happened.

A few weeks ago, another activist came to me with a concern because I was previously listed as an administrator of At The Mercy Of The State, but only so I could post my weekly video.  I never actually took an administrative role in this group beyond that.  The concern was that an attractive woman, with some rather provocative pictures on her profile was using these sexy pic's to "lure men in so that she could teach them about the dangers of CPS."  I simply brought the issue to the groups owner as it was brought to me, and was immediately removed as admin and told that I should have minded my own business.

After speaking with the groups owner, who by the way, claimed no knowledge of this whatsoever, I received a private message from an Amber Likerman who began asking me very specific questions about what had happened, including the name of the person who originally came to me.  Amber then started asking me if I had a girlfriend, etc, and ended the conversation by sending me a pornographic picture of herself.  All in the name of At The Mercy Of The State and supposedly in defense of the groups owner and how great he was.

I again spoke with the groups owner and he claimed no knowledge of this or of this person.  And although a few people told me of some rather nasty things that had been said about me in this group, by the owner, he was totally buddy/buddy with me.

Then last night a link was posted to his group in mine by another half dressed wanna be porn queen, whose profile could not be seen from this post.  I removed the post and banned her from my group.

So something is going on and it needs to be brought to light.  Why this is happening or whose behind it I do not know, although it has been suggested that the groups owner has been setting up these profiles for recruitment purposes so that he can sell his book, I can not personally verify that claim.

I am also not the only person who has had these issues with this group, the owner or these fake profiles.  

Of course you are all free to pick and choose who you want to associate with, but if you want to be taken seriously in regards to changing laws or getting your kids back from foster care, you might want to choose wisely.
