Barahona child death sparks bill to improve state oversight
A bill that could change the way state investigators handle cases of child abuse or neglect is working its way through legislative committees in Tallahassee, almost a year after the death of 10-year-old Nubia Barahona exposed major flaws in Florida's child welfare system.
