Former Waukesha County juvenile social worker indicted for possession and distribution of child pornography

A former juvenile social worker for the Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services has been indicted on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography.

A federal grand jury returned a two-count indictment against Bernard J. Trokan, 53, of Hartland on July 23, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.

N.J. caseworker with ‘direct access to children’ produced child pornography, feds say

A caseworker with New Jersey’s child welfare agency - who was previously fired from a teaching job over allegations about his conduct with students - was charged Friday with producing images of child sexual abuse, according to court documents and officials.

Kayan Frazier faces federal charges of producing visual depictions of a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct, receipt of child pornography and distribution of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced. The 27-year-old was already in custody at the Atlantic County jail since his April arrest on state child pornography offenses.

Social worker accused of watching child porn, offering minors cash for naked pictures

A Waukesha County social worker arrested last week offered to pay minors for naked pictures, WAOW affiliate WISN has learned.

Bernie Trokan is charged with possession of child pornography, and is now out of jail.

Trokan worked with children as a social worker with the Department of Health and Human Services for 17 years, but in the criminal complaint, prosecutors said he had disturbing child pornography on his cellphone.

Waukesha County juvenile social worker arrested for possession of child pornography

A Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services employee was arrested Thursday, May 30 for possession of child pornography.

An undercover FBI agent in Utah, led local authorities to 53-year-old Bernard Trokan of Merton -- who serves as a juvenile social worker with DHHS.

DCF worker ordered detained on child pornography charges

A Department of Children and Families caseworker charged with child pornography will remain in jail, a judge ruled Tuesday.

Ka’yan Frazier, 26, had more than 1,000 images and videos of children engaged in sexual acts on his cell and email, Assistant Prosecutor David Ruffenach told the judge.

Ka’yan Frazier, 26, of Somers Point, was arrested Monday following an investigation sparked by a tip from Tumblr, according to the affidavit obtained by BreakingAC.

Former Foster Parent Charged With Additional Child Porn

On March 7, FDLE agents arrested Dieter Claus Bucher, 76, of 990 Lukes Way, Fort Walton Beach, for four counts of possession of child pornography.

On April 5, Bucher, former employee and foster parent for Children in Crisis, Inc., was charged with 18 additional counts of possessing child pornography. Children in Crisis is a nonprofit organization, located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, that provides homes for abused, neglected, and abandoned children in the community.

Polk child welfare worker had over 165 files of child pornography, deputies say

A Polk County man arrested on charges of possession of child pornography in December 2018 received an additional 165 possession charges Thursday.

Officials from the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested 28-year-old William Smith, of Bartow, on Dec. 21. Bartow is a former counselor at Youth and Family Alternatives, which contracts with the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Independent investigators to review case of foster dad police say filmed kids in bathroom

The case of a foster dad allegedly filming kids in his bathroom will be reviewed by a third party investigative team, Utah officials said Tuesday.

John Kimble, 57, was arrested over the weekend and police say he could face more than 100 felony charges, many related to child pornography. He and his wife had four boys in their care, two of them adopted and two of them foster children. Police believe Kimble's wife was unaware of her husband's alleged crimes.

Foster parent charged with 100 counts of child pornography possession: ‘I just like to look’

Police arrested a Utah man Thursday after searching his home and finding over 100 pictures and videos of child pornography on his cellphone.

Police also charged 57-year-old John Kimble with 20 counts of voyeurism after he admitted to filming three of his foster children without their knowledge or permission, according to charging documents. He is also charged with three counts of child sexual abuse and 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor for manufacturing child pornography.

One adult is in custody tonight on charges of possession of child pornography from a home in Forney where an infant foster child died unexpectedly December 29.

Christian S. Richmond, 19, was booked into the Kaufman County jail this morning on possession of child pornography where he awaits arraignment according to jail records. Law enforcement officials confirm to inForney.com that his address is the same home where an infant in CPS foster care died unexpectedly early Saturday morning.

L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services employee charged with distributing child pornography

An employee of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has been charged with distributing child pornography online, the district attorney’s office announced Tuesday.

Carlos Enrique Castillo, 54, faces five felony counts of distributing child pornography and one felony count of possession of over 600 images of child or youth pornography, according to the criminal complaint. Castillo pleaded not guilty on Tuesday.

Alberta Children’s Services worker charged after 'thousands' of child porn photos found.

A Fort McMurray man recently employed with Alberta Children’s Services is facing child pornography charges after “thousands” of images were discovered on work computers, says the province’s joint police team.

The 60-year-old man was charged after an April 11 arrest in Leduc by the Internet Child Exploitation unit, said the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) in a Wednesday news release.
