A man who falsely alleged he had been a victim of a supposed child sex ring decades ago involving high-profile individuals including senior political and military figures was found guilty on Monday of perverting the course of justice.

Carl Beech, who was known by the pseudonym of “Nick,” told detectives he had been abused at military locations and at apartments close to parliament, and also said the pedophile gang had murdered three young boys.

Kevin Clancy (KFC) of Barstool Sportshas been reported to Child Protective Services and he is currently battling an open case. Clancy opened up on Barstool Radio that he was anonymously reported to Child Protective Services because of a tweet thread in 2018 where he jokingly mentioned throwing his daughter into a recycling bin.

The tweet came after a threat of tweets where he joked about having to take his daughter to ballet and dealing with her pooping, he joked about it being so bad he had to throw the clothes and the baby out into a recycling bin.

INVESTIGATION: DCYF Wrongfully Removed Children From RI Mother, According to State Report

A Rhode Island mother is speaking out after winning appeals against the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) for taking custody of her two children — which was found in an administrative decision to have been wrong.

West Warwick’s April Doyle received a fifty-six page decision from Karen Walsh, an Appeals Officer at the Office of Health and Human Services, on February 25, which granted appeals in five separate investigations that found there was insufficient evidence to support allegations by DCYF of "inadequate shelter" and "neglect" by Doyle.

Abuse allegation had 'catastrophic' impact on life of care worker

A HSE care worker who also fostered children told a court a child sexual abuse allegation, which he denied, had a "catastrophic" impact on his life.

The man, a married father of four, had his access to children, including his own grandchild, restricted following the allegation, which a Tusla appeals committee deemed to be "founded".

However, in a case which highlighted inadequacies in how the child and family agency dealt with the claims, the High Court quashed the appeals committee ruling.

The state of Hawaii has been improperly using unconfirmed reports of child abuse or neglect when evaluating potential foster parents or licensing day care facilities, prompting the federal government to order it to stop.

Federal law allows states to retain unconfirmed child abuse reports to be used in case of subsequent abuse complaints about the same parents or caregivers. The idea is that such reports, though not initially proven, might later help investigators establish a pattern.
