Here is the audio from my meeting a CPS worker with who was assigned to investigate a bullshit report by a dumbass social worker at my daughters school. 

I am posting this for educational purposes so that you can learn how to deal with CPS. Right from the start.  Don't give them anything to work with.  This case was closed with no finding of abuse after 8 days from the initial report.

My beautiful wife had to spend Mothers Day with CPS up her ass but now they're gone.

I just got a call from the CPS worker who was assigned to my case.  She informed me that they are closing my case with no finding of abuse.  Today is May 15th, the initial report was made on May 7th.  That's 8 days people.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about the CPS worker.  I'm not going to lie.  She treated me fairly and we were able to come to a resolution that I am satisfied with quickly.  I appreciate that because it was all bullshit to begin with.  Of course I can't speak for other families on her caseload so I won't, but I'm not going to bash her in any way because I personally have no reason to.

That doesn't mean I'm going to let it go at that.  I will take a quick sigh of relief, then get right back to fighting.

PJ Miles

First of all, I did have a 2 minute phone conversation with a psycho bitch from KidsPeace Maine alternative response by the name of PJ Miles, who accused me of verbal aggression and trying to bully her over the phone.  That pissed me off and I have filed a complaint against her and will file one against her professional license as well as with the state of Maine DHHS.  I'm sure that had I bowed down and kissed her ass from the start, she might have liked me.  I'm also sure had I not refused to work with her, we'd be fighting it out for 35 days, which is how long Maine CPS has to complete an investigation, or she'd try to impose services on my family or who knows.  KidsPeace is a private agency that makes it's money by contracting with CPS so of course they're going to milk it.

I did fill out a form on the KidsPeace website which is apparently their main office in Pennsylvania.  I wanted to make sure they saw my earlier blog post.

And I even got a canned response that does not address my issue.  I do not expect my issue to be addressed.  They will try to sweep it under the rug, but it's there forever anyway.

Now I just have to deal with a rat problem at the school.  Then there is the issue of dealing with the school so that this doesn't continue to happen.  Perhaps I just have to work on rebuilding my relationship and my trust with the school.  Perhaps I should demand that they have better training so that they know the difference between what and what not to report.  This is much harder done than said.  I trusted the person who made the report.  We are supposed to be a part of a team.  We are supposed to be all working together for the common good.  And they know damn well what my kid is like.  I feel like I'm the one who is supposed to take it for the team.  I feel like they stabbed me in the back.

I also need to say...

CPS did not enter my home.  I clearly stated that she would need a warrant.

CPS did not speak to or interact with my children.  Although the worker did "have to lay eyes on them," we came up with a way for her to do that without interacting with my kids.

What I did do was this.  After I refused services with the Alternative Response worker, the case was kicked back to CPS.  The CPS worker called the next day wanting to meet with myself and my wife.  I had assumed it would be a different ARS worker, but now it was a real CPS worker.  So I invited her to a meeting that I already had set up with my daughters case manager and invited her JCCO.  Both professionals who I have been working with for months.  Both who have been in my home.  Both who are helping me to deal with the special needs.  So this CPS worker got to hear a bit about our struggles with my special needs 15 year old, and all the POSITIVE THINGS we had been doing for the last several months.

That was all she needed.

The meeting took place on Friday and she notified me that she was closing the case today.

To John Beaman or to whom it may concern

On Wednesday May 9th I received a phone call from one PJ Miles (Patricia J. Miles).  This was due to a false accusation of child abuse or neglect that was made on May 7th and was referred to your agency for Alternative Response Services. 

I found PJ Miles to be rude and disrespectful.  She seemed to have her mind made up that I was guilty before she even called.  Within 30 seconds of the two-minute conversation she was already accusing me of verbal aggression and all I said was that I wasn’t interested in any of her services.  By the end of the conversation she had accused me of bullying her and threatened to get Child Protective Services involved and decided that she didn’t want to work with me even quicker than that.  So finally, I said, I’m sorry I can’t work with you and hung up.  It was obvious that if one did not kiss this woman’s butt right after her introduction then accusations were gonna fly.  Fortunately, she did tell me she represented your agency KidsPeace Maine.

Shortly after, I contacted her supervisor Stephanie Cater at 207-877-5029 and complained.  I was really upset over this as the situation is already scary enough.  Ms. Cater took my complaint about PJ Miles over the phone although I doubt she did anything, and I agreed to talk to another worker named Ryan Weaver.  After speaking with Mr. Weaver, I set up a meeting with him, agreed to work with him to resolve this issue.  Unfortunately, before this could even be set up, PJ Miles had already sent it back to CPS, so I ended up having to work with a real CPS worker, who was also much more professional, respectful and much nicer than PJ Miles.

First of all, I find it difficult to believe that anybody would be happy to hear from an any CPS or Alternative Response worker to discuss a false allegation of child abuse or neglect.  It was a shock to me to have the accusation made in the first place, but to have somebody who was unprofessional and throwing around even more unwarranted accusations left and right so quickly and without even knowing me is simply intensifying an already stressful situation.  I’m not a bad person and I’m working with several professionals already regarding the same special needs child who the report was made about, and who all respect me and enjoy working with me.  I didn’t even have a problem with the CPS worker in all honesty, so far anyway.  I guess an unproven accusation is all PJ Miles needs to pass judgement.  She’s certainly not objective.  Perhaps your agency should offer better training to your workers.  Just a thought.

Because of this incident and my faith that PJ Miles will probably get away with it with no repercussions and be left to attack other parents who find themselves in this situation and who live in my own community, like she attacked me during a 2 minute phone conversation, I have decided to focus my attention on your agency, KidsPeace Maine, on my blogs.  I am a popular blogger who runs a blog on Parental Rights and Child Welfare Issues called Legally Kidnapped which can be found at www.LegallyKidnapped.com  Your agency, and PJ Miles will be blogged about for the whole world to see for as long as this case drags out.  PJ Miles will also now have a special featured post on Legally Kidnapped, because I think it’s important to warn other parents that workers like her are allowed to attack parents like this, so I will post a copy of this grievance on there as well as on all of my social media accounts that are associated with my blog.  And it will be there forever. 

It’s really quite sad and pathetic that I have to do this considering that some families may even benefit from the services your agency offers. 

Thanks to her supervisor, Ms. Cater, giving me her real first name (Patricia), I was able to find her on Facebook just by typing her name and get her picture for my blog but I will never contact her in any way again.  So honestly, I don’t care what you do with this grievance.  I would like a written apology from PJ Miles for my blog as well, but I won’t hold my breath.

CPS is up my ass again.

Well here we go again.

Monday May 7th...

As many of you who are my friends on Facebook know, this past Monday, May 7th I was reported to CPS by two school social workers, one of which looks like Janice from the Muppet's and the other who is just a low life piece of shit CPS rat.  At this point I am not stating their names, but that may change depending on how this all goes.

The accusation is as follows....

I grabbed my daughter by the arm and threatened to hit her.  

The threatening to hit her part is bullshit.  That is not true.  Nor has my daughter ever been spanked or hit by myself or her mother.  The grabbing her by the arm part was necessary to get her out of a situation where she was making a scene in a public place in front of a lot of people and only because she refused to leave on her own.

And she had been grounded for locking herself in her counselors office.

At this point I should probably give a little background info.

I have a 15 year old daughter who is special needs.  She is very smart but has severe behavioral issues.  She has been known to get violent and can have an emotional meltdown on the drop of a dime.  Starting at age 9, West School in Portland, which is what is called a Day Treatment Program for special needs kids, was putting her into physical restraints on a near daily basis.  Although the restraints have stopped, she still exhibits all kinds of behaviors.

The school is well aware of how she can be and we really did have a good relationship until this past Monday.  Now... I'm fucking pissed.  They know damn well she is NOT abused.  They know damn well she can go off on a dime.  They know damn well that she her emotional meltdowns can go from 0 to 60 in a split second.  And they know damn well that according to her it's all their fault.

So moving forward.

On Tuesday May 8th...

I had a meeting with the school to complain about the social workers who made the report and to explain to them that I can not work with them and help them to deal with the behaviors that they are well aware of it it is going to turn into a child abuse investigation every time I turn around.  Complaints will also be made against their professional licenses with the state.

On Wednesday May 9th...

The report was screened out and sent to Alternative Response.  That means that a fake CPS worker wanted to come and talk to me and my wife about the bullshit.  Unfortunately the ARS worker who was assigned to me was a man-hater or something from KidsPeace who goes by the name of P.J. Miles.  and within 30 seconds of this 2 minute conversation she was accusing me of verbal aggression and trying to bully her over the phone because I told her that I was not interested in her services and not to show up at my kids school.  So I told her she was too stupid to work with me and then called and complained to her supervisor (who told me that her real name was Patricia and I was able to find her and steal her pic from facebook) set me up with another ARS worker who was much nicer.  I talked to this person for a few minutes, and agreed to meet with him, my daughters case manager, her JCCO (Juvenile Community Corrections Officer, ie her probation officer) both of whom are professionals who we have been working with for several months and who are very supportive of us as parents.  This meeting would take place Friday morning.

On Thursday May 10th...

A real CPS worker named Melicia or Menicia or whatever the fuck it is  calls me and says that she is taking over the case.  Apparently (based on my call to the supervisor at kidspeace again) that PJ Miles bitch kicked it back to DHHS before they could assign the new worker.  So this CPS worker will instead be attending the same meeting I already had scheduled.  Although there was no real discussion of anything, the schools have been notified not to allow any babystealers access to my children without a court order.  The Reverse Miranda is in place.  The CPS worker also agreed not to show up at the schools, but we know they lie.  That's why precautions are in place.

I have to add this.  When she called me it was cute.  After she introduced herself she tried to build rapport by sounding sympathetic and saying, "It sounds like you got a lot going on with this kid..."

I responded, "What do you want?"

I gave her no other information, and I'll know more in the morning.
