Abuse conference turns into blame game
Six children under the age of three have been murdered in 2008. The statistic is causing alarm for community leaders who are trying to find ways to stop the problem. But a meeting Thursday morning turned into a heated argument over just who is to blame.
On one side, are advocates who say they’re trying to find ways to stop child abuse before it starts and on the other side are parents who say the problem is the system itself – particularly SRS.
