Nashville school officials failed to tell child welfare investigators that they suspected a female high school teacher had engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl, possibly for months.
Instead, the teacher was allowed to resign on April 21, 2016 – four days after then-Maplewood High School principal Ron Woodard reportedly told the girl's parents of the alleged behavior.
