Removing more kids from their families would be a tragic overreaction

IN “UNDER fire, but unbowed, Roche presses ahead” (Page A1, Jan. 12), experts warn that in the wake of the Jeremiah Oliver case, Department of Children and Families social workers will remove more children from their parents. This would be tragic for the many children who, with the right services and supports, could remain safely with their families.
