DCF wins lawsuit filed by advocacy group over foster kid care
The state’s Department of Children and Families has prevailed against a lawsuit filed by a national advocacy group contending it wasn’t doing enough to protect its foster children, a federal judge has ruled.
I was the first witness in this trial, and the only person from foster care who was able to speak at this trial. I am still in absolute shock that this is the verdict. I was abused by DCF for my entire life. They put me in places that are so dangerous and scary, one cannot simply imagine. It has scarred me for life and caused irreparable damage.
