WHEN Marg Green, of Monash, was taken from her birth mother when she was five weeks old, it fell to other young women at the girls' home to tell the new mother ''hurry your baby is going!''
I wasn't in a home but the hospital and nurses pretended the next day that nothing had happened and when I asked to see my baby they said - 'what baby' as if I hadn't had one. They were horrible to me and I'll never forget how bad I felt about myself. This apology although welcome is far too little too late and nothing will make up for the damage done
