Family Court Judge Jeremiah criticized in R.I. Supreme Court ruling
For the second time in six weeks, the state Supreme Court has issued an opinion excoriating the departing chief judge of the Family Court for his handling of a case.
In a decision issued Thursday, the state’s high court overturned a decision made by Jeremiah S. Jeremiah Jr. in which he terminated the parental rights of an inmate at the Adult Correctional Institutions.
