Criticism from Children's "Watchdog"

BC's children's "watchdog" says the province is still cutting corners and taking shortcuts with child protection.

It's an accusation Mary-Ellen Turpel Lafond has made before. But this time it relates to a program where children are placed in the homes of relatives.

And the minister in charge says the criticism is unfair and disrespectful to the caregivers.

And I say, somebody ought to start bitch-slapping some of these self-righteous feminazi hypocrites who feel they have a right to stick their nose into your business!

  1. hmmm that's funny because according to DFCS adoption through private agency policy and procedures the freed up child is placed with the adoptive parents 6 months in advance before the adoption can be finalized. if during that period before finalizing it comes to DFCS attention that the adoptive family is under a case plan for whatever reason, the case workers are to follow policy and removes the child immediately. However, if of course the case worker feels like the child is fine even with ongoing situation at hand, then, "oh what the heck, I'll just go get a waiver and let's let the little baby stay". my my, you can't keep your own grandchild if you are under an open or even closed case plan. "Now isn't this special?'
