Custody battle begins for infant
A state-mandated deadline has passed and Child Protective Services is no longer involved – but a custody battle relating to a now 18-month-old child carries on.
On one side, extended family members who won an appellate decision to be allowed into the case – on the other side, the foster parents, who decided early on they wanted to adopt the little boy.
