GENESEE COUNTY: DHS: State would like to do more for adoptive kids

The head of Michigan's child-welfare agency declined Monday to speak about the recent death of a quadriplegic girl but said the state would like to offer more help to families with adoptive kids.

    Mr. Ismael Ahmed is a coward. The relatives of Shylae Thomas, the 9 year old quadriplegic girl starved to death in this case, allege that they called CPS repeatedly about abuse and neglect in the adoptive home, but nothing was done. Why?
