Supreme Court to Hear Arguments in Case That Could Re-Arm Thousands of Convicted Domestic Violence Abusers
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments today at 11 a.m. in United States v. Hayes, a case that will determine whether thousands of convicted domestic violence abusers will be allowed to possess guns.
Note: A little off topic, but still interesting.
I don't think it is really off topix at all. In Kentucky it is quite common for social workers to force women to get bogus domestic violence petitions against a spouse/significant other OR the social worker will take the child.
ReplyDeleteThis is particularly used when there is a hidden agenda by the social worker, or law enforcement agencies involved.
This being said. I was convicted of domestic violence for marching in public with a sign. My ex husband, is an attorney. My conviction has been vacated, but the damage had already been done. Being unfairly labled a domestic violence offender allowed my ex to abuse all other types of legal processes including CPS which labled me a child abuser, twice for the DVO conviction.
