Rejected for adoption, some end up on the streets
Nine months ago, Dace D. , a pulmonary doctor, made the decision to adopt. Like most young couples in their position, she and her husband wanted to adopt a baby, preferably a girl. They ended up with 4-year-old twin boys.
Although at first skeptical about adopting more than one child, Dace said the ministry was pushing the adoption of multiple children.
